Family Garden Fun at Fellows Riverside Gardens
Throughout the month of June
Tuesdays 10 am – 2 pm
Fridays 10 am – 2 pm
Sundays Noon – 3 pm

    Plan a drop-in visit to the Family Garden on fair weather Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays to dig, plant, water or read a book. The flowers want to meet you! The Family Garden Greeter at the Discovery Cart is happy to tell you about the plants and has many free hands-on activities for children to enjoy with their favorite adults. Call Fellows Riverside Gardens for information.

Junior Golf Camp — Introductory Level
AGES: 4 - 6 (adult must attend) and 7 – 18
Session I    June 8, 15, & 29 (Wednesdays)
Session II   June  16, 23, & 30 (Thursdays)
Session III  June 17, 24, & July 1 (Fridays)
TIMES: 9 – 10:30 am
PLACE: Par 3 Golf Course (Wick Recreation Area)
REGISTRATION: Begins June 1. Register online at www.playgolfamerica.com or by calling 330-740-7114.
PROGRAM: Boys and girls will learn basic golf fundamentals including: etiquette, rules, putting, short game, full swing, and playing experience. Cost includes sleeve of golf balls and Mill Creek Junior Golf cap.
FEE: $30
 
Junior Golf Camp - Graduate Level 
AGES:  7 – 18
Session I: June 16, 23 & 30
Session II: June 17, 24 & July 1
Playing Sessions: July 8, 15 & 29

TIMES: Noon — 2 pm
PLACE: Mill Creek Golf Course

REGISTRATION: Begins June 1. Register online at www.playgolfamerica.com or by calling 330-740-7114.
PROGRAM:  For those who have already attended our junior golf camps and those who have played the game and are capable of playing on their own. This session will be more mechanical in nature and will include competitive opportunities. Students participating in any of the three clinic sessions are eligible for the playing sessions.
FEE: $50 (includes playing session green fees and prizes)
 
Park Explorers (children entering grades 4 - 6)
June 29 & 30
Wednesday & Thursday, 10 am - 2 pm
    Explore the many different sides of Mill Creek Park. Learn about some of the plants and animals that live here, as well as some of the history of the Park through hikes, games, crafts, and more. Registration and fee are due at Ford Nature Center by June 20.
Fee: $30 R, $35 NR
 
Tennis Camp
July 11 & 12
Monday & Tuesday, 10 am - Noon
    Kids will learn the fundamental of tennis. Lessons are free; space is limited. Call
330-755-7275 to register and for details. Held at Yellow Creek Park.
 
Park Pals (children entering grades 1 - 3)
July 13 & 14
Wednesday & Thursday, 10 am - 2 pm
    Become a Park Pal and learn about Mill Creek Park and the animals and plants that call it home. The days will be filled with hikes, crafts, games, and other fun activities. Registration and fee are due at Ford Nature Center by July 5.
Fee: $30 R, $35 NR

Kinder Kritters (children entering Kindergarten)
July 20 & 21
Wednesday & Thursday, 10 am - 1 pm
    Fun activities are planned for indoors and outdoors along with a story time and crafts. Campers will go on short walks to learn about nature. Registration and fee are due at Ford Nature Center by July 11.
Fee: $25 R, $30 NR
 
Ag Camp: Down on the Farm
July 26 & 27 (grades 1 – 3)
July 29 (grades 4 – 6)
8:30 am – 4:30 pm
    New York, New York…is our camp theme. Campers will have fun with crafts, games, movies, cooking, and other activities to learn about things that the Big Apple is known for. Co-sponsored by Agland Co-op and Witmers Feed & Grain. Call 330-547-6633 to register by July 2.
