The next Regular Meeting of the Board of Park Commissioners, of Mill Creek MetroParks is scheduled for Monday, July 12, 2021, at 6 p.m., in the Education Building – McMahon Hall, at the MetroParks Farm, on Rt. 46, in Canfield. The agenda will be available on the website after 2 p.m. on the day of the meeting. A meeting of the Public Records Commission will be held prior to the Regular Board Meeting at 5:30 p.m., at the same location.

Mill Creek MetroParks has teamed up with iHeart Radio, Mix 98.9 to provide the Live! at the Morley Concert Series at Wick Recreation Area. The summer evening concert series, held on the lawn at the Judge Morley Pavilion, runs on select dates through August 18, 2021. All performances are free and family friendly. In addition to the concerts, new for 2021, are Family Nights held at Wick Recreation Area. Beginning at 5:00 pm on July 28 and August 25, 2021, individuals and families can purchase a pass for unlimited golf on the Par-3 and unlimited swings in the batting cages along with the other free activities included at the facility such as tennis, volleyball, Dek Hockey, the wet playground, and more! End the evening with a free, family movie (July 28 – The Lion King, August 25 – Raya and the Last Dragon) beginning at dusk on a large screen at the Morley Pavilion. Passes can be purchased in person at Wick Recreation Area (1861 McCollum Rd., Youngstown) or by calling 330.740.7114.

The Mill Creek Golf Course will be closed the morning of Saturday, July 3, 2021, due to a scheduled private event. Both North and South Courses will be closed. The Courses will reopen to the public at 3:00 pm on July 3,2021 and tee times can be made online or by calling the golf shop at 330.740.7112. The Driving Range and Wick Recreation Par-3 Course will be open for normal play during the day of the event.
