This rustic cabin on the west side of Youngstown in Mill Creek Park is available to rent year-round, and can accommodate groups of up to 40 people for casual family get-togethers, birthday parties, and other small gatherings.

Amenities include: stove, refrigerator, microwave, cold running water, electricity, gas log fireplace, and tables and chairs. Cabin is heated, but not air-conditioned. Vault-type restrooms with no running water are nearby. Public parking for 36 vehicles. Large lawn area, with picnic tables and grills across the street for public use. Lower Bears Den Playground and James L. Wick, Jr. Recreation Area are short hikes away.

Alcoholic beverages prohibited.

You may only enter MetroParks facilities during the time for which you have paid. This includes setup/decorating, deliveries, cooking, and cleanup. If you need additional timeslots, they must be consecutive, and please do so timely, according to the Guidelines below.

Decorating, deliveries, set-up, event, and clean-up must all be done in the time purchased.

Cancellation Policy:

• Receipt number must be provided in order to cancel or change a reservation.
• Refunds will be processed within 5 working days after the cancellation is received, according to the cancellation schedule below.
  • Prior to 60 days before reserved date 85% refund
  • 30-60 days before reserved date 50% refund
  • Less than 30 days before reserved date no refund
