WELLER GALLERY

The Weller Gallery is located at Fellows Riverside Gardens inside the D.D. and Velma Davis Education & Visitor Center and hosts local artists and photographers using various mediums.

Mill Creek MetroParks presents photography by Phillip Martin. Martin has been photographing since 2021, working primarily throughout Northwest Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, Youngstown, and Northeast Ohio. His work focuses on the environment as it truly exists—placing emotion above technique and the presence of a place above technical perfection. Drawn to quiet, often overlooked moments, Martin allows the landscape to speak for itself, revealing beauty that isn’t always immediately apparent.

This body of work reflects Martin’s ongoing interest in how natural and built environments hold memory, how time reshapes them, and how meaning lingers long after a place fades from everyday attention. Through these images, he seeks to preserve the landscapes he encounters and invite viewers to slow down and reconsider the spaces that surround them.

About the Photographer: Martin is married and the father of two young children, whose sense of wonder and curiosity continue to shape how he observes and documents the world around him.
