Dek Hockey Rink

Mill Creek MetroParks welcomes a NEW Dek Hockey Rink to Wick Recreation Area! This is brought to the community in an effort to add an additional recreational opportunity to the complex and more opportunities for physical activity for youth and adults. The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation initiated the construction of the rink with other contributions from members of the community.

Dek Hockey is a variation of ice hockey in which the game is played using a ball, either outdoors on foot or with inline skates.

The Dek Rink is a “FREE PLAY” facility unless reserved and is available on a first come, first served basis by the hour.

Lost or broken hockey and Lacrosse sticks are subject to a $15.00 replacement fee. Lost or non-returned dek pucks, dek balls, and/or lacrosse balls are subject to a replacement fee of $5.00.
