Mill Creek MetroParks presents Family Camp in the Park August 1 at 9 a.m. through August 2 at 1 p.m. This fun family camping experience is structured to give your family lots of fun activities to participate in both during the day and through the evening. Enjoy nature programs and hikes, a family scavenger hunt, evening campfire, children’s outdoor story time, family games, craft activities, an early bird morning hike, and more.
Family Camp in the Park is sponsored by WFMJ/WBCB. Space is limited; register early! Each camping space is $5 (for residents of Mahoning County), $10 (for nonresidents). Each participant is $10 (resident), $15 (nonresident). Limited tent rental available for $15 per tent. The following roads in Mill Creek Park will be closed starting Monday, July 27 for rehabilitation of two historic stone arch bridges:
West Drive from Dividing Sycamore to West Glacier Drive
Lily Pond Drive from West Drive to Birch Hill Cabin (access to Birch Hill Cabin and the Lily Pond will be available from McCollum Road)
