In collaboration with and in response to the recent testing results provided by the Mahoning County District Board of Health, in accordance with Ohio Administrative Code 3745.104 with E. coli levels, Mill Creek MetroParks is closing Lakes Newport, Cohasset, and Glacier for public use until further notice.
Effective immediately, all scheduled activities for these lakes will be cancelled until further notice. No fishing or recreational use of Lakes Newport, Cohasset, and Glacier is permitted as well.
If you have registered for an upcoming water program/activity, please contact the Ford Nature Center.
