First there were focus group meetings in December of 2011. Those were followed by public open houses, a mail survey and interviews with community leaders during the first half of 2012. A needs assessment was conducted and demographic studies were completed. All of the information was compiled into the 2013 Strategic Plan, a comprehensive document that will guide the MetroParks through the next ten years. Read more
