Portion of East Gorge Trail to Close for Trail Improvements

Beginning Monday, October 12, 2026, a portion of the East Gorge Trail in Mill Creek Park will close to allow for trail improvement work.

The project will include construction of new boardwalk sections, installation of an aggregate trail surface and other related improvements designed to enhance the trail.

The existing East Gorge Boardwalk will remain open during construction. The trail will be closed beyond the end of the existing boardwalk to Valley Drive.

The project is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Visitors are asked to observe posted closure signs and avoid the closed portion of the trail while work is underway.
