Tucked beneath the hillside in scenic Yellow Creek Park, the Captain John Struthers Pavilion is a spacious, seasonal picnic shelter that accommodates up to 96 guests and available for seasonal rental from May 1 through September 30.

AMENITIES INCLUDE:

  • ELECTRICITY AND GRILL PROVIDED
  • PUBLIC RESTROOMS WITH RUNNING WATER NEARBY
  • ON-SITE PARKING FOR APPROXIMATELY 50 VEHICLES

Other amenities are located in the surrounding recreation area are open to the public.

RENTAL GUIDELINES:

  • ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT PERMITTED
  • DECORATING, DELIVERIES, SET-UP, AND CLEAN-UP MUST OCCUR WITHIN THE TIME RESERVED
  • PAVILION AND GROUNDS ARE RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PERMIT
    HOLDER AND THEIR GROUP

PLEASE NOTE:

  • THE PAVILION IS LOCATED ADJACENT TO YELLOW CREEK LODGE, AN ENCLOSED BANQUET FACILITY.

    To preserve the experience for all guests, the pavilion and lodge will not be rented to separate groups at the same time. However, both spaces may be rented together by a single group, provided the total attendance does not exceed 100 people.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • RECEIPT NUMBER MUST BE PROVIDED IN ORDER TO CANCEL OR CHANGE A RESERVATION.
  • REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED WITHIN 5 WORKING DAYS AFTER THE CANCELLATION IS RECEIVED, ACCORDING TO THE CANCELLATION SCHEDULE BELOW.
    • Prior to 60 days before reserved date 85% refund
    • 30-60 days before reserved date 50% refund
    • Less than 30 days before reserved date no refund

  • REGULAR RATE

    $130/day | 10 a.m. – Dark

  • DISCOUNTED RESIDENT RATE

    $100/day | 10 a.m. – Dark

In order to receive the discounted Resident Rate, the individual or business issuing payment for the facility rental must provide proof of Mahoning County residency as part of the reservation request.
