A Walk Through the Park to be on Display in Weller Gallery
Mill Creek MetroParks presents A Walk Through the Park showcasing works from local artist Thomas Sewickley. This exhibit will feature works of Mill Creek MetroParks in a single, passing moment in time by using soft pastels on sandpaper using a heavy color palette to add energy and to manipulate temperature and contrast. Sewickley chooses sandpaper as his canvas as it allows multiple layers of pigment to be laid down creating a more painterly surface.
This free exhibit will be on display April 6 through July 7, 2024, within the Weller Gallery inside the Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens, during normal operating hours of Tuesdays – Sundays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., closed Mondays.
