“John Fire – Images of Nature” to be on Display in Weller Gallery

Mill Creek MetroParks presents John Fire-Images of Nature featuring landscape and nature photography by photographer John Fire. “Although I’ve been fascinated with all types of photography since my childhood and have owned several cameras for most of my adult life, including having my own darkroom, my passion for landscape and nature photography really exploded around ten years ago. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel throughout the United States photographing many of the amazing sites that our country has to offer. I’ve also realized that you don’t have to go far from home to capture a beautiful image and that one can be created as close as your backyard if the lighting is right and your imagination is willing, says Fire.”

In 2022, Fire’s work was featured at the Regional Photographers Gallery. In addition, he has won awards at the Butler Institute of American Art, Trumbull Art Gallery, Canfield Fair, Davis YMCA, Soap Gallery, and Mill Creek Metro Parks’ Nature Photography Exhibit.

This free exhibit is on display October 8 – December 31, 2023, in the Weller Gallery located inside the Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens, during normal operating hours of Tuesdays – Sundays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., closed Mondays. A Meet the Photographer session will take place on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 3 – 5 p.m. in the Weller Gallery at Fellows Riverside Gardens.
