About Betsy Ford
Betsy Ford studied at both YSU and the Maryland Institute of Art. While at YSU, Ford pursued a watercolor class taught by Mary Kay D’Isa’s, and it was she who showed her how pure, how exciting, and how risky that medium can be. Ford is a member of the Mahoning Valley Watercolor Society and is inspired by painters from the past and the painters she’s lucky enough to know, like Lotte, and the many members of the Mahoning Valley Watercolor Society.

About Lotte Herwig-Erhardt
Loette Herwig-Erhardt was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States after graduating in history and German literature. Herwig-Erhardt enrolled in several art courses in the early 1970’s at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa. Starting in 1989 she participated in watercolor workshops, group shows, and one person shows.
