Cohasset Express
All aboard the Cohasset Express! Mill Creek MetroParks’ cheerful trolley provides a unique and exciting transportation option to experience the MetroParks and surrounding communities. Manufactured by Cable Car Concepts, the Cohasset Express is a trackless trolley that will run on any road within MetroParks, and most surface streets in the local community.
The Cohasset Express has a nostalgic appeal that evokes warm, positive emotions at first sight and provides an open and airy ride. In addition to transporting visitors throughout Mill Creek MetroParks, the Cohasset Express can be seen at various Mill Creek MetroParks events and programs as well as events throughout the community.
Rentals and Programs
The Cohasset Express is available to rent by the public for special occasions. Use it to get around the MetroParks for weddings, senior photos, prom, birthday parties, family reunions or any other private celebrations. Our service-oriented staff will ensure that your wishes are met and every detail is complete in order to create an extraordinary and lasting memory. The rental fee for the trolley will be $350 for the first two (2) hours and $150 for each additional hour. The trolley must be rented for a minimum of two (2) hours. A guide is available for an additional fee of $25.00 per hour (guide must be reserved for entire rental time). The trolley holds a maximum of 12 people. A discount is available for 501c3 organizations. The trolley is available for rentals seasonally from April through October. If the weather permits, at the discretion of the MetroParks, it may be used prior to or after the seasonal dates. The trolley is open air and does not have heat. In addition, interpretive tours and other programs on the Trolley are offered to the general public through much of the year. Reserve your spot for these popular programs early, as space is limited. On a limited basis, some organized groups can be accommodated on an alternate schedule for these programs.
